California LCFS credits traded down to $65 on Thursday, $2 below traded values the previous session, amid a burst of liquidity. Credits changed hands once $65.50 and again at $65, with producers on the sell side. Both deals at $65 were for 5,000 tons each, with 3,000 tons changing hands at $65.50m. Follow on sell side interests nudged subsequent bid/offer spreads to $63 against $65. The D5/D6 spread maintained its tight level around 9 cents while D4 kept losing value to hit 46.5 cents, the lowest level seen this year.
