Indicative value in the CFR Ulsan B Grade ethanol market remained flat at 500USD/m3 on Tuesday, drifting amid a thin trading session. Santos B-grade ethanol also remained flat, sitting at 420 USD/m3 for September shipment. With Brazil in the middle of their sugar harvest season, many ethanol producers are finding it difficult to sustain current inventory levels due to a lack of resources, according to UNICA official reports. This could lead to Brazilian ethanol supply falling short during the inter-harvest periods, driving prices upwards and exaggerating seasonal price spreads. US ethanol prices also stayed flat at close on Monday.
